Escape Studios CG Whiz Competition 2010

Description:
This competition is open to anyone interested in computer graphics (professionals in CG aren’t eligible) and is perfect if you’re looking to break into the Visual Effects industry. Students, graduates and hobbyists of all countries and disciplines are invited to enter the competition.
There are over £15,000 or $24,000 worth of prizes. The first prize is a 12-week VFX course in Escape Studios UK or US Academy plus a one-month placement at The Mill and a one-year subscription to CG Society. Second prize is a VFX mentored course and third prize is a Maya Essentials online course. Ten runners up will get a subscription to 3D Artist magazine.
You can upload your showreel or send a link to it through Escape Studios various social networking channels – listed below.
- YouTube – Reply to the CG Whiz video and upload your reel
- Twitter – Provid a link to your showreel and label it clearly
- Vimeo – Upload your video to the CG Whiz group page
- Facebook – Post your Showreel on the Wall
Once you’ve done that send your contact details to [email protected] with the name of your showreel.
