Quark uses iPhone app to draw designers

Quark has launched a free iPhone and iPod Touch application to interact with, and drive traffic to, its ILoveDesign.com site

The new iPhone app, available immediately from the iTunes Store, enables designers to share projects, inspiration and opinions directly from their mobiles.

“ILoveDesign.com has seen tremendous success since its launch in 2008,” said Terry Welty, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Quark. “It continues to inspire and excite graphic designers and provide a forum to share ideas, comment, critique, and celebrate great design. Now with the iPhone app, they can be inspired by designs wherever they are, engage with other designers and take their design portfolio with them to showcase to potential clients or share with friends.”

The new iPhone application lets users browse, share thoughts on and rate thousands of projects from the ILoveDesign.com website and offers a news feed, gallery/project browser and account maintenance.

It doesn’t matter what design software you use  and you don’t need to be a member of ILoveDesign.com to use the iPhone application, but registration at www.ilovedesign.com is free and unlocks additional functionality.
