Golden shots shine at British Arrows
- The winners of this year’s British Arrows have been announced, rewarding the best television, online, outdoor and cinema commercials made by British advertising agencies and production companies.
- The ceremony for the awards, established in 1976, took place last night at Battersea Evolution in London. “The Arrows are a special and wonderful event, and 2014 has been another record year, with 618 entries, which were painstakingly whittled down to 16 Gold and 47 Silver winners,” said British Arrows Chairman Robert Campbell.
- Campbell continued:“A massive thanks goes to Kim Papworth for doing a fantastic job of heading up this year’s Jury. And thanks also go to the 21 Jury members, who gave up so much of their time and showed great passion and insight. They spent three long days in careful debate and deliberation. The result, I am sure you will agree, is a brilliant representation of the last year’s work.”
- Kim Papworth, Chairman of the 2014 British Arrows Jury, added, “The British Arrows celebrate that wonderful thing that happens when a great client, a great agency and a great production company get together; the stars line up and they make something really special.”
