Encounters issues early deadline for short films and animation
The Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival is back in Bristol from 17-22 September 2013 and is still accepting live action and animated shorts of all genres (fiction, documentary, experimental, music video) under 30 minutes. Be quick though, this is the last week to submit films completed in 2012
Encounters has set an Early Deadline of this coming Friday, 29 March, for films completed in 2012, while the Final Deadline of 3 June is for films completed in 2013.
The festival is one of the best-known showcases and meeting points for emerging talent, and is a leading UK gateway to the world’s most prestigious short film and animation awards: the BAFTAs,Cartoon d’Or, European Film Awards, and Oscars.
Encounters has teamed up with Reelport to provide an online submissions service. This means that even if your film doesn’t get selected it can still be seen by delegates during the festival via an online Digital Viewing Library.
