Review: Sketchup Pro 7

My review of Sketchup Pro 7, the 3D sketching software from Google has been posted by Digital Arts

It offers a great way to lay out an initial design for a 3D scene or artwork. Illustrators and digital artists can use the free version for occasional work, then take their sketches into Photoshop and Illustrator to create artwork. Pros include pros use and authoring of Dynamic Components, an Interact tool and texture enhancements. There’s also Layout 2 and Style Builder as well as custom metadata and a report generator.
It’s free for the standard version and £341 (+ VAT) for the Pro version from Google
