Congratulations to Double Negative which has won the award for Special Visual Effects in this year’s BAFTA awards for its work on Inception. The prize followed a clutch of awards for the film at the annual Visual Effects Society awards, which also saw MPC and Framestore win gongs.
Framestore has taken Philips’ Parallel Lines campaign into a new dimension with RSA’s The Foundling, with stereo 3D postproduction using SGO Mistika
Nexus directors Fx & Mat and Framestore have created an entirely CG 60-second film, Siege. The epic fantasy spot for Wieden + Kennedy Portland and Coca Cola aired in the US at Super Bowl XLV
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 sees Framestore providing some of its finest work yet, including recreated house-elves, a magical animated storybook sequence and other dazzling VFX- 110 shots in all.
Framestore is further strengthening its production department by hiring Helen Hughes as senior producer.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’s stunning visual effects were created almost entirely in London, with Framestore contributing some 124 shots, including the creation of the movie’s breathtaking penultimate action sequence.
