Information Is Beautiful Awards winners

The panel of judges included Alberto Cairo, director of the visualisation program at the University of Miami’s Center for Computational Science, Aziz Cami, Creative Director of Kantar, information designer Giorgia Lupi, writer and co-founder David McCandless, creative partner of IIB Studio Duncan Swain, FlowingData creator Nathan Yau and Stefanie Posavec, whose data-related design work has been exhibited at New York’s Museum of Modern Art and the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Special Achievement – Corporate Award: Biobased Economy by Schwandt Infographics

The Gold Winners each received a cash prize of $1,500, while the winners of the Special Achievement Awards received a cash prize of $1,000 each, except for Most Beautiful Award, won by RAW by DensityDesign Research Lab which received a cash prize of $5,000.
