Good50x70 is an independent, non-profit initiative by Associazione Culturale Good Design. The association organises projects, exhibitions and workshops for young creatives and professional designers in partnership with the main European design institutions. The association works with NGOs, the media, the public and designers to spur new ideas and actions. It also devises workshops in schools to stimulate the awareness of children and teenagers, as well as running the international contest Good50x70.

The  fourth edition of this international social design contest was hosted in Milan in October this year. This year’s themes were chosen with the NGOs taking part in the project and they are: the immigrants’ right to receive medical assistance (EMERGENCY), the importance of creating marine reserves for whales (GREENPEACE), the right of HIV-infected people to travel to all countries with no restrictions, soccer as an element to create strong bonds among the African population (AMREF), the need to protect wild tigers (WWF), fighting poverty by respecting human rights (AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL), and the exhortation to fight against all mafia groups (LIBERA).

The catalogue collects 210 of the best posters from the 2010 edition of Good 50×70 and includes the views of the jury members on the project. Printed in a limited edition of 1000 copies by Arti Grafiche Bianca&Volta, on Favini environmentally friendly paper, it has 160 colour pages.

The payment will be handled through PayPal. All the money raised by the sale of the catalogues is reinvested in the project to sustain it.
