Samsung gets stylish with Lucy in Disguise
Samsung Electronics UK has just announced an exclusively designed Lucy in Disguise (LiD) notebook.
LiD is a vintage store in London’s Covent Garden featuring items carefully selected by Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen. The SF310 notebook boasts a bespoke Lucy in Disguise design and elegantly crafted aesthetics that will undoubtedly appeal to the style-conscious.It will be available to buy from the Covent Garden store from early November.
Samsung said the SF310 is the ultimate choice for those looking for a notebook with a difference. Its unique curved form, sleek ivory exterior and chic matt black interior really complement the LiD design, raising the bar when it comes to stylish technology. The notebook’s durable yet lightweight casing is scratch resistant, so it will look newer for longer.
“The unique design of these Samsung notebooks really complements the LiD concept,” said Lily Allen. “It’s a fantastic extension to the brand and encapsulates the LiD brand identity. The LiD design brings a vintage twist to modern technology.”
Intended for use on the go, the SF310 has 6.5 hours of battery life and includes an express charging mode which fully charges the battery in 2 – 3 hours. With Samsung’s proprietary Fast Start technology, the notebook is ready to use in seconds and features a convenient USB Sleep & Charge feature to charge cameras and mobiles without turning on the notebook.
Darren Matthews, General Manager of Samsung’s Note PC Division, described the Lucy in Disguise partnership as an obvious choice for Samsug. “It’s such a great fit for the SF310,” he said. “We’re excited to announce that the new notebooks will soon be available in store and the designs are sure to catch the eye of LiD’s fashion conscious customers.”
LiD is centred on a fashion-savvy fictional character called Lucy and, as well as ordering the new exclusively designed SF310 notebook, visitors to the store can delve into ‘Lucy’s’ wardrobe and hire or purchase clothing from her collection of vintage clothes, jewellery, bags and shoes.
The original SF310 notebook (without the LiD design) is available now in UK stores and will retail from £799.
