Animal Logic hires VFX producer Matt Lynch

Australian visual effects and animation facility Animal Logic has hired VFX Producer Matt Lynch. Reporting to Head of Production, Luke Hetherington, Lynch will be instrumental in the promotion of the company’s VFX capabilities and the current slate of Australian tax incentives to film studios executives, VFX producer and supervisors, helping to extend the company’s business opportunities and reputation worldwide.

“We’re thrilled to have Matt join the team,“ said Hetherington. “He has a strong track record in VFX production and developing new business opportunities in the UK and Canada and extensive experience marketing the regional tax incentives to the major studios. His background in this area will certainly help to promote Animal Logic’s VFX team as a viable source of world-class visual effects.“

Lynch has over 16 years experience as a VFX producer and Business Development Executive marketing studios in Australia, United Kingdom and Canada. Recently returning to Australia, he brings a wealth of experience in generating project leads and his credits include Watchmen, The Chronicles of Narnia and Traitor.

Animal Logic is currently in production on Zack Snyder’s fantasy adventure Sucker Punch and the upcoming animated feature Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. The company’s recent credits include Knowing, Australia and the Academy Award winning Happy Feet.
