The first stage of the ‘tour’ will be a five-day online festival that begins on Monday, May 10, and runs through to Friday, May 14.  Adobe experts will guide users through the new CS5 products including Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premiere Pro, with one-hour eSeminars taking place both in the morning and afternoons.

The second stage of CS5 ‘on tour’ sees Adobe flying in its team of global evangelists for full day events in five locations across the UK – Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and then finally London. Jason Levine, Greg Rewis and Terry White – alongside Adobe UK’s local product specialists – will demonstrate the top new features of CS5, using cinema screens to bring the new products and suites to life. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak one-to-one with the product experts.

The 6 workshops each day will be held at a Vue Cinema in the following locations:

25 May – Edinburgh

26 May – Manchester

27 May – Birmingham

2 June – Bristol

3 June – London

There is no charge to attend Creative Suite 5 Tour 2010

“Every version of Creative Suite Adobe pays close attention to the needs of the creative community, and with CS5 we have really pushed the boundaries of what can be achieved with our software,” said Eric McCashey, senior marketing manager of creative solutions at Adobe. “By providing users with supporting resources to develop their knowledge of the new products, we hope to build an active community around the Creative Juice’s web site for sharing ideas and spurring innovation.”

The tour coincides with the launch of the new Adobe UK creative community portal – Creative Juices.  Over time, Adobe hopes Creative Juices will become a hub for people to learn, share and discuss ideas and creativity with the wider community. It includes an events section to highlight tours such as this, as well as a blog called ‘The Buzz’ which showcases news, video tutorials, and tips on CS5.
